Review Soul of Chogokin: GX-43 Brave Leader Daimos Die-Cast Figure / Bandai:GX-43 Tosho Daimos Soul Of Chogokin Tosho Daimos (êL½«¥À¥¤¥â¥¹, Brave Leader (or Fighting King) Daimos) is a televised anime series produced by Nihon Sunrise. Daimos is the third installment of Tadao Nagahama¡¯s Romantic Trilogy, following Ch¨denji Robo Combattler V and Ch¨denji Machine Voltes V. It ran from 1 April 1978 to 27 January 1979 and consisted of 44 episodes. A movie with the pivotal episodes strung together titled Starbirds was released in the US by the same company that released Tranzor Z. The name Daimos is derived from Deimos, one of the two moons of Mars. Outside of Japan, the show also aired in the Philippines, Malaysia and Italy. In the early 1980s there was a VHS release in France, but only the first seven episodes were available. In the 1990s, the entire series was shown in Poland (although with Polish voiceover, the Italian dubbing could be heard in background).

Review Movie Masterpiece ED-209 - Battle Damaged / Hot Toys:Movie Masterpiece Battle Damaged ED-209 stands 15â tall. The ED-209 is a bulky mech mounted atop sturdy legs with splayed feet. Outcropping shoulder plates are jointed above thick gun-mounted arms. With its machinegun and twin-launcher firepower, the ED-209 was a formidable opponent-unless of course you were to lead one of them on a chase down a staircase. Also, the EDâs arenât much of a match for the Cobra Assault Cannon. This version of the ED-209 is sporting a warped arm with a dismembered gun appendage. The Enforcement Droid 209 was an ultimate abortive attempt by OCP to generate automated replacements for the uncooperative Detroit police force. But, unfortunately, when they brought an ED-209 upstairs to demonstrate the robotâs prowess to the corporate board, the ED-209 inadvertently drummed one of the OCP executives with 20mm machinegun fire until the exec looked like a roast beef sandwich gone horribly wrong. When Robocop attempted to apprehend OCP executive Dick Jones, he was crippled by Directive 4 and then set upon by the ED-209.

Well-articulated, he comes equipped with a sword and a number of other add-on or alternate accessories, as well as the usual display base and mounting bracket. After the fall of the original Mazinger, Great Mazinger, a modified version, was unveiled to combat a new crop of militant aliens. Great Mazinger was a little tougher than his predecessor, and his weapon arsenal was equally modified. The Typhoon Attack was one among several recalibrated abilities, and the Rocket Punch maneuver was essentially the same but this time the fists revolved in flight, generating a heavier attack. He had knee spikes and leg spikes to assist with his kicks. His V-shaped chest piece could be used as a boomerang. Great Mazingerâs pilot linked up by docking a new cerebral hovercraft called the Brain Condor. Great Mazinger also had a newly designed retractable Scrander, but since Great Mazinger already had flight capability, the new Scrander, when utilized, took on a more offensive capacity.
